This page summarises how the current Kern demo handles data. A full legal privacy policy will be published before commercial launch.

What data Kern stores

The current version of Kern runs entirely in your browser. The following is stored locally on your device (in your browser's localStorage) and never sent to any server:

Your language preference
Your exercise history, scores, and streak — if you create a local account
Your name and email — if you create a local account
Your leaderboard participation choice (opt-in or not)

What employers see

Kern is designed so that employers only ever see aggregated, anonymised team-level data: popular exercise categories, participation rates, and overall wellness trends. Individual names, scores, and timestamps are never shared with employers.

Tracking and third parties

Kern sets no tracking cookies and uses no analytics or advertising scripts. The only third-party requests this site makes are to Google Fonts for typography.

Deleting your data

Because all data lives in your browser, you can delete it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.
